You can buy Corona in 7oz bottles. They're called Coronitas. You can also get many major domestic brands (Bud and Coors Light are two I have seen) in 8oz cans.
Yes, they are called pony bottles. They are hard to find sometimes, and don't come in all brands. Just ask your beer distributor
Doesnt Rolling Rock have smaller than normal bottles sometimes? They look like mini beers. So pointless though! Drink them up! :D
