Take some oral rehydration powder before you go to bed. It means you wont need to drink so much water the next day so you'll feel less nauseous. It's available over the counter at chemists ( drugstores ).

Buttermilk is what my X used, on a nightly basics, too. LOL It worked, though, & stayed down.

ginger ale. you can usually hold it down, but only take it a couple of tablespoons every hour until you feel better. if you can't keep this down, you really should go to the emergency room. Feel better soon :)

A sourdough Jack from Jack in the box! It's all the grease, and the bread.

Take a long hard look at yourself and your Drinking habits.

Obviously don't drink as much but you know that. Also, the really annoying part about that severe of a hangover is that you are extremely dehydrated but can't get anything into your system. Try drinking water between cocktails the night before and drinking a few glasses of water before you go to bed. If you throw up that night, try to get some water into you before you pass out. The next morning, sip water slooooowly. Baby sips. See if you can get a bite or two of dry toast in.

Drink a glass or two of water before you go to bed and you feel fine the next morning. I think its because you get so dehydrated from drinking and then sleeping all night

I've been bartending for about 20 years and nothing "cures" a hangover. Just like a bad cold you have to treat the symptoms. Its true when you drink you start to dehydrate so you should drink water while your drinking alcohol and after you stopped. Eating fried foods before and while your drinking also cuts down on how your body responds to too much alcohol. There is no difference on how a body responds to the amount induced by gender, size or ethnic group. A case of beer will give male or female, short or tall, fat or thin, green or purple the same effect. Many people dispute this but its true. These are facts introduced in any bartenders training if they choose to be trained properly. Everyone is different but if all cut they all bleed. Sounds wierd but true. Everything in moderation is good. Just dont overdo it.

A major part of the problem is dehydration. Try to consume as much water as is comfortable "the night before". You could alternate highballs with soda, for example. The next morning, brush your teeth ASAP. If water doesn't feel good, try drinking tomato juice.

You might also consider why you are drinking enough to have a hangover and whether it's really worth it.

wow!!,.....welcome to the world of alcohol,.....time will take the hang over, time,.....but i did hear of this,.....take 2 pieces of bread, toast both of them,.....put a big glop of cottage cheese on one piece of toast, put that piece of toast in the micro-wave oven and heat on high for 60 seconds, take the other piece of toast, and add ketchup, take the other piece of toast from the micro-wave put it on top, and eat this,.....for added flavor add sardines,.....emmmmm, good eats,.....enjoy,.....

Eat something greasy, like a Big Mac meal or two. If that doesn't help, start drinking again.

Try drinking clear alcohols such as gin, or vodka rather than dark alcohols such as Rye or Bourban. Clear alcohols will lessen the effect of a hangover.
Also, a "cure" if there is one is replenishing your body of the electrolytes it needs that were taken away by the alcohol. Gatorade, or some other sports drink gives you a boost in electrolytes. Also, tomatos have the most electrolytes of any food in nature, so try eating more tomatos.
