Rum in Water Bottles?!
Answers: Ok, i have rum and whiskey in two separate water bottles right now. I've had these for about 3 months. Is it still ok to drink? I know that you can do that with wine, but is it ok with this kind of alcohol?
Somewhat ok..... but.....
You do realize that the rum and whiskey will leech out impurities in the plastic over time. Don't store booze in plastic for any extended time.
It's not going to kill you, and you might not even notice any flavor difference (maybe) but it's not a habit that I would recommend continuing.
