Which tequila and whiskey?!
On the other hand, I LOVE Jose Quiervo Tequila. I just want to know what other tequila is out there that are about as strong and go down as smooth. I drink my tequila straight and after half a pint if I need a chaser I grab a wine cooler or a Budweiser. So which tequila would you suggest?
Answers: My boyfriend wants so bad to find a whiskey that doesn't leave him smelling like a brewery. So far I believe he's tried Wild Trukey and A little Crown. Thing is he doesn't want to spend $100 finding a whiskey he likes. He says Wild Turkey tastes like "pine needles and cough syrup" and that's just too funny. Also says he has to water down 80 proof and put it on ice to drink it without mixing it. So which whiskey would you suggest? He's a cowboy so he wants whiskey. (rolls eyes)

I suggest Pendleton Whiskey. It's a cowboy whiskey from the famous Pendleton Roundup.
It is personally my favorite, and the drink of choice of many of my friends.
For Tequila, Patron can't be beat, but it does have an expensive price.
They're aren't really in whiskeys or bourbon that don't have that kick when your drink it. I drink wild turkey 101 with no problem. If you take 5 or 6 in a short time you will stop tasting in whiskey. But the best thing you can get is Patron tequilla its not cheap but it absolutely the best. It is really smooth and has no real kick and you can get the faint hint of tequilla when you swallow.
I would try Makers Mark whiskey, it's a bourbon and it's really good, if he didn't like it I would be surprised.
For tequila, if you like Quervo try Patron. Patron puts Quervo to shame! Patron is SOOO smooth.
Both these are more expensive than most (esp Patron) but are well worth it.
Honey Turkey and Patron Yee Haw
TRY BUSHMILLS IRISH WHISKEY---
FOR TEQUILA --Reserva De La Familia ....BUT IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE
as far as the whiskey goes he's pretty much outta luck, whiskey and bourbon have distinct odors either because of ingredients or the aging process. for tequila, try hornitos or patron and chase with pineapple juice.

I live in KY and my opinion is there is no whiskey as smooth or stout and maybe a little rot gut! LMFAO!

Like all liquors, tequila varies greatly from brand to brand. First you have to choose the tipo, then mixto vs. 100% agave, beyond that it's a price and taste issue. The brands listed below are meant as a representation of the tequila market and as you can see, the prices can vary greatly. General rule is that the higher the price, the higher the quality. Although many people enjoy less-expensive brands over the big spenders. It is all a matter of taste.
