How do I learn to like beer?!

Question:

How do I learn to like beer?

I wish I could drink beer - I feel left out at picnics, sporting events, etc. I really like margaritas and other "foo-foo" drinks. Is there a "fruity" beer? Something a little easier to swallow? I know, I'm a wienie!

Try Amstel Light. It's good stuff. Also try Michaloeb Amber Bach, it's dark yet smooth.

drink the strong stuff. so eventually you'll be so drunk you wont have to taste it.

I have a website for you.

I used to hate beer. Blah. I still am very picky about it. One that I have found that is good is Blue Moon.

Yea, Smironoff Ice or Zima. Just go to the Sissy section of the beer distributor. Beer is an aquired taste. If you keep drinking it, eventually you will like it.

Beer is an acquired taste, it takes a while to get used to!

In the meantime, here are some suggestions:

Hornsby's (it's a hard cider, tastes like an apple cider-flavored beer)
Smirnoff (malt beer, comes in all kinds of fruity flavors)
Zima (similar to Smirnoff, although a little stronger)
Sparks (like an alcoholic energy drink)

All of these are sold in the store next to the beer, and most people who don't care for the taste of beer drink them as alternatives.

Good luck, and happy drinking.

if your a guy your not a man if your a girl then u should be the way you are

I know plenty of women who hate beer. It is an acquired taste. Drink Wine coolers, Smirinoff Ice, or Mikes Hard lemonade. They are flavored beers.

hey, if you don't like it, you dont like it! i don't like it either personally.

ur not a weenie......beer taste like **** and anyone who says it doesn't is lying.....haha.......the only reason people down it is because of social pressure.......just don't worry 'bout it.....i don't drink just because everyone else around me is......it makes you look like the stronger person...trust me

There is a new beer Miller Chill it has a good lime flavor to it!

Try a Lambic.

just drink and build tolerance its not easy because ur not used to it but it will get easier. drink different brands and find urs

http://www.ciderjack.com/

Try that. It may be up your alley. I personally can't stand it but it could be a start.

Why not wine coolers? If you like tomato juice, try mixing it with the beer. Sometimes different beers are easier to drink (less harsh). If you don't like Miller or Budweiser products, OR any of the imports, give up on beer and have a bloody Mary or daiquiri.

My wife drinks the new Miller Chill. It has salt and lime already in it and my wife says it reminds her of a margarita.

i was told the best we to drink beer is open your throat and toss it back.dont taste is it taste like water.

go for something light and not very flavorful. and drink it as cold as possible. something like Corona Light is good - with that you can even put a wedge of lime in it.

YOU RETARD! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!?!?!

stop it! now! if your friends were jumping off building would you do it??? come on! have some since! you don't like it anyway...juss DON"T DRINK IT!

man!

Drink wine coolers, Drink what you like, If your friends are making fun at you. You need new friends, I live in Gulfport Fl and I'm having a picnic with a few friends there will be plenty of beer there but if you decided to come over I would have a variety of wine cooler's and other drinks for you to try. Have a great weekend.

Try Magic Hat #9 or Abita Purple Haze. They are fruity tasting beers.

Just a little food for thought here, but if you don't like it why would you want force yourself to drink it? I drink beer, I like it. Some days it tastes great, others not so much. However, not drinking it is probably the best route. Outside of the obvious, (it is a depressant), it also has lots of calories. I have also learned that it isn't a necessary ingredient to having a good time. So, If you are still set on drinking beer, you might try a red one. (beer with tomato juice or with Clamato juice.....) Good luck

I'm not sure where you are from, but go to a bar that specializes in beer. Like" Flying Saucer". Hit them up at www.beerknurd.com then explain to bartender you are new to beer, tell him/her your likes and ask them to create a flight of beer for you. A flight is several small samples and it is reasonably priced. If no beer bars in your area go to a brewpub and ask the brew-master for a suggestion. The fresher the Beer the better it will taste. I hope you find this helpful. Beer is fun and complex and there is one out there for you.

First of all you are not a wennie. Don't put down margaritas they at least have tequila in them.

If you want to start liking beer start by drinkin gthe mass produced watered down stuff like Coors lite, Bud, Anything with the word light spelled (LITE). The colder the better.

Then you can move to light good tasting beers like Corona, Sam Adams Summer Ale, and Blue moon,

The beers known as wheat beers or Belgian wheat beers will be your best bet because their flavors are lighter and great for summer drinking.

Don't be afraid to ask the owner of the liquor store you go to for help. Assuming the store you go to is reputable and clean.

Store managers and owners love helping their customers out in that way. If you find a beer you like they can even order it for you. Most of the time.

Cheers.

have to keep drinking and eventually u get used to it...i was like that before....

Try a hefeweizen or wheat beer with a slice of lemon or orange. Those tend to be very easy on the taste buds. Sunshine Wheat, Hoegaarden, Blue Moon, or Paulaner Hefeweizen. Don't be afraid to squeeze a generous amount of lemon or orange into it.

If it's available in your area try Pyramid Apricot Weizen... it's a wheat beer with a hint of apricot.

Abita Purple Haze may be easy for you to handle, it has a hint of raspberry.

Give these beers a shot. Good luck. :)

why do you need to like beer? DRINK UP DEM MAAHGARIITAAS.

u dont learn to like beer, just try every beer and eventually you will like one or two
