How can u tell if wine has gone bad?!

Question:

How can u tell if wine has gone bad?

if it was opened a week ago is it probably still ok?

Answers:
If wine goes bad, it turns to vinegar. If it smells and tastes like vinegar, it's bad. It's probably ok if it was in the fridge for the past week, but if you left it out it's probably no good.

taste it. If it's lost it's kick & flavor, it's bad.

Only way is to taste it.

If the wine has a bad smell, Or if the wine was white and it's turning yellow it's starting to turn. Just take a small sip, That's the best way to find out.

No it is probably not ok. If it has a pungent smell and taste or if it is a white wine and it tastes kind of carbonated, it is bad.

all you can do is taste. I personally only drink it if its just been opened.

If it has been open for 7 days and not refrigerated it most likely isn't up to par. Best way to tell, smell it first, if that's ok, then taste it. You'll know then for sure.

it will go flat like a coke and if it is a red you will see a lot of flakes on the bottom of the bottle because it has mixed with the air and gone bad. they now make corks for wines that you can pump to remove the air out of the bottle to make it last longer you can get them at Williams Sonoma for cheap.
