You can only consume the booze OFF the premises.

"Licensed to sell alcohol for consumption *off* the premises".

the term off in off sales is just that...
You buy them to take 'off' the premises to drink

Means you can buy it there but must consume it elsewhere.

An Off license is licensed to sell alcohol for consumption off the premises. A Pub may sell alcohol for consumption both off and on the premises.

sorry to bore you but the same as everyone else said but means you have to consume t off the premises.

drink is consumed off the premises bottles are sold unopened and must not be opened on the premises

YOU TAKE IT AT HOME AND GET P*ISSED! YOU CAN'T BUY IT AND EXPECT TO DRINK IT THERE AND THERE!!
