We're having about 20 guys over for Thanksgiving and my hubby wants a keg. Is one enough or do we need two?!

Question: Normally I would say one and a couple of cases of beer. But they just got back from Iraq so I say three kegs!! They deserve it.

2

depends on the size of the keg, and how heavy drinkers they are.

u r so goin 2 need 2

Depends how much each guy usually drinks , plus any other extra guests. If your unsure, get two . Better safe then sorry !

you're fine with a keg. get a couple bottles of red, white, and for the keg get whatever the boys are used to drinkin'.

I would 3 just in case haha

I think 1 is plenty otherwise they get greedy and end up drinking the beer just because its there.

Better to have too much than not enough

Better 2 ...as we know guys eats more...hehehe

one should be plenty. and if there is leftovers send for me asap.

I think that depends on how drunk you want your husbands friends to get. I think one will be fine because I am sure there will be other beverages around for people to drink.

It depends on how many fights you want to break up....just kidding, sort of.

Realistically, how much drinking do you want? Do you want people to be a bit relaxed or wasted?

I would buy 1 keg and also buy a 30-pack of beer as a backup.

Some guys will drink alot and others will only have a beer or two. This way if you don't go through as much beer as you thought, you can save the 30-pack for another party!

depends on how many litre's are in a keg and if your hubbies mates are big drinkers. You may wish to go with the one keg and have some stubbies on ice on stand by.

Hope its a G8 party.

do me a favour 20 blokes 1 keg (barrel)

2....no doubt about it:) happy partying

One would be enough. Two would be great!!... maybe

With that many guys though, at one place and at one time, its easy for things such as fights to erupt, fueled by the drink, Even within 'brothers'. Just be prepared for things to possibly cross the line

two

def. 2....especially if they are bringin family or other friends to it as well...i mean ur pretty much havin a kegger..lol. good luck!

You will need two at a minimum

I would start with a standard half keg (15.5 gal) of whatever they like, and have about 2 or 3 cases of longnecks for backup. If they don't float the keg, you will still have beer on hand.

A keg is over 15 gallons of beer??
