I don't know much about wine but I like it.

Answers:
I recommend Japanese Plum Wine for a sweet cordial. Also Sherry, even the dry ones are a little sweet.

I prefer blush wines, which are pretty sweet. A low cost brand that I frequently buy is Gallo...White Merlot is my favorite from that brand. It's pretty sweet and will cost under $10 for a larger bottle. You may also want to try a White Zinfandel, which are usually sweeter than other types of wine.
Happy tasting, hope you find one you like!

Berringers Pinot Grigio

Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2005 - cost about $9-12.

It depends on what you're looking for as far as "sweet" wines as concerned. You'll be looking at something like a blush most likely (white zins to most people). However, a lot of whites can have a sweeter flavor. You'll want to avoid whites that have heavier wood notes. Reislings will be a very good place to start for sweet ones. Or, if you want a REALLY sweet one, pick up a late harvest Reisling. They're so sweet you can pretty much drink it with ice cream!

Mogan David is the sweetest red wine available. I'm not sure if they even make it anymore.

My absolute favorite is a 2005 Fetzer Valley Oaks Gewurtztraminer. You can find it for around nine to eleven dollars a bottle depending on where you buy it. It is an excellent compliment to spicy foods or great on its own. Many wines require food to help decrease acidity or tannins (this is what gives wine a sour taste) but the Gavurtz does not. You may also want to try any of the blush or rose wines, such as White Zinfandel or White Shiraz. Enjoy!!

Yago Sangria is a good sweet wine. Red or white. I suggest you go to a winery, do a tour and do some wine tasting. There are several wineries in Missouri if you are anywhere close to Gods Country.

For red wine I would recommend Shiraz in the $8 range.

For white wine I would go with a Reisling but this will cost you more like $15-20.

For really sweet (high sugar) wines then you have to look for "dessert" wines.

Also go to a reputable wine merchant and ask the propriator to make you a recommendation. They may even have wine tastings that you can go to to try the wines before you buy them.

Here is a great recipe that will make any low price wine much sweeter. I like to call it, "Hooker Champagne."

Take some ice and put it into a glass.

Fill said glass 3/4 full of your favorite cheap wine drank.

Fill the rest of said glass now filled with 3/4 wine drank with 7 up.

Arbor Mist is very inexpensive and sweet.

Troon Vineyard Jeanie in a Bottle! $12 per bottle

troonvineyard.com

Yummy!

Go with Beringer or Sutter Home White Zinfandels.

pinot grigio is great. I don't really like wine but I liked this. The brand I drank was santa margarita I think it was a little more expensive but it was really good
