Answers: ~*i usually always drink red but wanted to skip the headache and black poop the next day. so i drank white wine and altho no headache (yay!) i still had to poop crazy bad? what's the deal for real?*~

I believe the tannin in the wine (which comes from the skins of grapes) has a laxative effect, which is why wine is often served with cheeses, whose binding effect in the colon counteracts this little side effect of drinking wine.

It is because wine is made from grapes and just like prunes they do the trick.
It must be the alchohol because beer does the same!!
