I'm 23 and its still not my fav. drink (coca-cola is!)

Answers:
When I was in high school I HATED the taste of beer. I remember that it was the nastiest tasting drink on EARTH to me ...at the time.

and then i had a group of friends... who told me that I needed to go through "beer training" and they gave me beer every night of every week...for months on end.

I was ready to give up.
Beer training had FAILED.
I still hated it

and then..
magically...
one day....

My parents were out of town. and I had some left over beer from a party I had thrown... and all alone, in the dark of the house

I cracked open my first "solo beer" and enjoyed several of them...by myself

and for the first time
I connected with Beer

and the love affair began

it is definately an aquired taste. it takes some practice and getting used to.
but once you love it?
there is NO going back

I started young would sneak in the fridge and get my dads beer or he would give me a sip sometimes proabally around 8 or 9 don't drink no more been away from it for couple years now

never, why drink! Think of it as a blessing that it is NASTY! I know your liver will! Alcohol does not benefit anyone. You do not have to be intelligent to figure this one out!

i was 12 years old. I loved it!
I still love the taste of beer until now! :-)

Around like 16

Took me a good year to latch on, but I'm glad I kept with it-I'd be missing out on Fat Tire! (Not to mention all the fantastic micro-brews and European stuff that's out right now...) It was mostly due to the "bitter" taste that you get with cheap domestics that first turned me off, but then I realized that Bud Select was still crappy Budweiser, and so I switched to stuff like Stella Artois, Kirin Ichiban & Bass.

i'm 25 and I can't stand the taste of beer!

I was 20, I started with real good beers and have tried many more. What have you tried? Maybe you should try different kinds, light, dark, medium body. Then again you may just not like beer, you could always try a hard cider, like Blackthorn, a dry cider, or Hornsby's which is a sweeter cider. Good Luck!!

16 is when I started liking other stuff more than bud, miller, or coors products.

You must be my long-lost child or soulmate (just kidding).
I was 23 when I first actually learned to like the taste of beer.
My girlfriend told me that I had to eat something with beer so it wouldn't taste so bad. So, for about 2 or 3 weeks we went out for pizza and beer and I actually learned to like it. So I attribute my friend, Alice, for teaching me to like it so I could order it when we went to the bars on Rush Street in Chicago to hear good bands back in the day. My favorite drink of all time still is Coca-cola classic.

Once I got married and had a baby, didn't go bar hopping anymore and didn't want to get headaches anymore so I stopped drinking beer.

Older now. Haven't had a beer in years and have no desire to have one now. I still prefer a coke.

I am 67 years old and I still do not like the taste of any kind of beer. I really don't like any other alcholic beverages either.
I prefer Diet Coke.

I was Four years old and it was, Shiner Bock Beer, in the Hospitality Room of the Spoetzle Brewery in Shiner , Texas....... and it is STILL good .......

Age is just part of the equation. You also need to find an actual decent beer you like. Try a Guinness, there's just nothing like them. That might not be it for you, but you might simply have too much taste to enjoy lousy domestic beer, and there's nothing wrong with that.

5.... then I quit liking it at all by the time I was a teen, now I can only tolerate it as a chaser for something really good.... lol

15. Honestly, whats better than going in a quiet pub, getting a corner booth, and reading a book while puffing on Nat Sherman cigarettes and drinking a Guiness?

16 you just have to get use to it drink if you drink it all the time its starts to taste good and make sure its ice cold
