What is the best brand of bourbon, and how do you like to drink it?!

Question:

What is the best brand of bourbon, and how do you like to drink it?

I really enjoy Maker's Mark, and I usually drink it on the rocks.

Answers:
Woodford Reserve and Maker's Mark are my favorite. I drink both on the rocks. If you haven't tried Woodford Reserve I would make a point of getting a bottle the next time you are at the store.

I'm pretty partial to Jim Beam, and I drink it straight.

As with anything else, what is, "The Best" of anything is largely a matter of personal taste and opinion ....... I prefer Maker's Mark also, because it has always had consistent flavor, consistent Texture on the palate, consistent aftertaste, and consistent color and it mixes well if one insists upon mixing something with it ... Three fingers deep in a glass is my absolute favorite way to enjoy it, and the occasional Mint Julep is quite refreshing IF it is correctly made, in the original, Southern Tradition and served on a wide, airy verandah or while enjoying The Sport of Kings .......

do love the Maker's Mark, but like Woodford Reserve just a bit more. Both on the rocks or with a splash or water.

i WOODFORD RESERVE and i drink it on the rox.

Makers Mark is my favourite, with a splash of ginger ale.

Four Roses small batch. Neat (no ice, no splash of water). Its one of the 3 bourbons i've found that are smooth enough to drink neat (Wathens and Rockhill are the other two). On the rocks works for most bourbons (there are some that still don't taste great even if you mix it with coke, going heavy on the coke) but it cuts the proof and dilutes the flavor and aroma
