Question: What is the brand and the price?
(I'm looking for a nice, classic wine that has an affordable price and a great taste)

Here are a few that are not of the mass-production type but still easy to find:

il Bastardo: A sangiovese wine from Italy. Sangiovese is the type of grape that Chianti wines are made from, and has less of that paint fume quality that wines from California seem to think is a good thing. It compliments many meals that other reds could not. Bottles are usually less just under $10

Melini: Another sangiovese. Same as above

Crazy Horse: This Australian label is really good at blending and their cab-merlot is a good choice. Don't let the screw-top fool you. Because of the U.S. Dollar being worth as much as an m&m, this import seems to be going up in price, but it's still worth it at $12-14

Lost Horizons: From South Africa. They make blends as well and they're ok, but this stuff seems to be hangover juice so if you plan on buying more than one bottle of something you may not want this one to be it. I once saw this selling in a store for $3.99

Bully Hill: A label from New York state. Their good one is called "Meat Market Red" I can't remember the price but it didnt give me sticker shock.

Forest Glen White Merlot: It's a nice change from all that white zin that's out there. Goes with fish light pasta and chicken. Near me it's $7

Le Coq Rouge: French label that's the best French wine you are going to find for under $9

Gato Negro: South American. All-purpose red wine. $5

Good luck

Reunite Raspberry...about $4.5. I also love Lambrusco...it is the same price...this is for the 750ml bottles!

Cline "Old Vine Zinfandel" big bang for the buck
about 15.00

Marquis de Riscal...Spanish
same price range

Chateau Haut Brion 1985
200-300 per bottle

Beringer Estate merlot and cabernet sauvignon from California $8.99 a bottle.

Fetzer, Beringer, Sutter Home, Robert Mondovi, Cabernet Sauvingnon, Merlot, Shiraz, Easy on the wallet and all nice wines....

Silverado Sangiovese $25
Silverado Fantaisa (sangiovese blend) $45.
Luna Vineyards Sangiovese $25
