Whats the difference on How fast you drink a set amount of Alcohol????!

Question:

Whats the difference on How fast you drink a set amount of Alcohol????

I mean......say you had 1/4 a bottle of vodka. If you took it in shots spread over an hours time versus drinking it all at once. What would be the difference???? Would you get more drunk with one way? Would you be drunk longer one way? Which would feel better?

Answers:
Well, seeing as the alcohol takes 1 unit per hour to be metabolised, it's probably best to drink it slower.
Also better after fatty foods such as cheese, as it slows down the time that it takes to get in your blood stream.
If you drink it with a mixer like OJ it's even better as you get your daily vitamins too!
I think it feels better to get drunk slower, it's more fun and you don't pass out as quick.

well... seeing I'm 16 years old and obviously in the days of my excessive drinking prime... I would suggest slamming down half of what u have getting the initial buzz... then waiting like an hour and have half of what you have left... and then an hour later finish off your bottle... Why do this? because the 1st half will get you pissed... then drinking the other half over 2 hours shal prelong the drunkenness for another 2 hours... yea... thank god for teen rebelion lol

WELL MY FRIEND.. IF YOU PUT TO MUCH LIQUOR IN YOUR SYSTEM TOO QUICK.... YOUR CAN DIE/AND OR GETA VERY BAD CASE OF ALCHOHOL POISIONING . BECAUSE THE BODY CANT HANDLE IT.
. IF YOU SPREAD IT OUT OVER A PERIOD OF TIME YOU WILL NOT GET TOO DRUNK. THE BODY CAN HANDLE AN AVERAGE OF 1 OZ OF LIQUOR PER HOUR .

i would suggest taking it slower your drunk longer and chugging alcohol can lead to alcohol poisoning or possibly dieing

Drinking the alcohol fast would get you drunker cuz it would all hit your blood at the same time. Whereas, drinking a shot every hour would mean less alcohol in your system at one time.
