Does anyone like Sweet Vermouth, or is it just that lady from Groundhog's Day?!

Question: First, the people that said in martinis either have a very unique taste or they meant "dry vermouth". Sweet vermouth is most widely used in a manhatten.
Second, (if you mean straight sweet vermouth) yes... I worked at a member-only country club and we had ONE lady (out of several hundred) that would order sweet vermouth. I think it is disguisting alone, but she loved it. I've never seen anyone order dry vermouth as it is.

Yes, it is really good when it is misted over a gin martini - it adds lots of flavor.

It is also in my favorite cocktail, the Manhattan (whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters).

Ya in Manhattans....

Most definitely...in martinis of course

Sweet Vermouth is used to make Manhattans.
