Are all white wines high in calories? are there any low calorie ones?!

Question:

Are all white wines high in calories? are there any low calorie ones?

Answers:
Anything containing alcohol has calories. Pure alcohol is about 60 calories per ounce. Naturally some wines also have more residual sugar than others, so naturall the sweeter the wine, the higher in calories, the highest are desert wines. The lowest calorie wines will be the dry white wines.

All white wine is going to have close to the same amount of calories. To reduce the calorie intake of your drink, you could switch to a white wine spritzer, which is white wine with seltzer. The good news is that wine is lower in calories than most mixed drinks made with sodas or juices (unless they, too, are made with seltzer).

Pinot Grigio should be one of the lowest in calories. All the best. Wine and friends are best when drunk so enjoy!
