I'm not a real wine cooler fan. Wine coolers are too teeny bopper/early 20s for me.
Try Kahula Mudslide, B-52, With milk, etc. There is a great Spanish Sangria out there right now. Its not a Wine cooler just miniature wine bottles.
If you're like me and you like "sweeter" wine, these are the types you should take a look at:
-- Muscat (VERY sweet dessert wine)
-- Auslese (VERY sweet German wine)
-- Spatlese (moderately sweet German wine)
-- Riesling (another moderately sweet German wine)
-- Lambrusco (sweet red wine)
I'm not a big fan of wine cooler because there's something in it that upsets my stomach, but that's just me. You may also want to take a look at the Arbor Mist varieties -- they're fairly inexpensive and tend toward the sweeter side.
Jack Daniel's Down home punch are good coolers (and a bit stronger but taste yummy) and Strawberry Hill Wine is a good flavored Malt beverage. It is generally found in the wine section, in a wine sized bottle

I really like Parrot Bay- there are three different flavors- Matava Blue (berry/kiwi), Wave Runner (passion fruit/mango), and my personal fav- Sunset Surf (pineapple/orange).
they are not as sweet as other wine coolers and malt beverages so you can drink quite a few with out getting that upset stomach feeling.

It seems that you're just starting with wines and would probably prefer something on the sweeter end. You should start with Hogue Late Harvest Riesling. It's sweet, but not as sweet as most dessert wines. Also, if you can find it try Voulet.
for a wine cooler: Cisco Berry has a very berry taste.
I don't like wine, but I definitely enjoy the occasional wine cooler.
Shiraz and Cabernet are my favs.
fuzzy navels are really good. its a mix of peach and orange w/ very little alcohol so it doesnt give you that burning sensation in your chest. its just a refreshing sweet drink
A good wine is Cakebread Chardonnay, but it's hard to find. Kendall Jackson makes good inexpensive wine.
Good wine cooler is an oxymoron. Although if you make your own sangria that stuff is good!
