It's to control the flow of the alcohol and prevent splashing. Many bars use metal pour spout inserts to get this same effect.

Who knows? Maybe they don't drink as fast as me!

never noticed that. thought they were all metal

Stops things getting into the bottle, but still lets the drink out.

They don't usually. THe only one I could think of of was teachers whiskey, but that was years ago.

Don't know don't care! But your an idiot for buying that! Alcohol is very dangeous! ps. don't embarrass yourself when your drunk!

If you're as drunk as I am most of the time the plastic caps helps a lot. Trying to pour a shot of alc into a glass usually ends up with 1/2 a glass or more of liquor ... with the plastic cap ... it slow the liquid from coming out.

HAve fun!

No idea
but we have plastic bottles here in Germany

Recycling maybe
