Does anyone know of a wine with a word beginning with 'U' in the name, or the makers, or the area?!
1998 Umani Ronchi Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC 'Jorio'
2nd Nov 2000 ITL17500 TUSCANY Table Red
Deep ruby to pink/ruby at rim - looks immature but concentrated. Not much on the nose yet - some slightly dank, deep inky aromas of berry fruit - lurking. Full bodied with chewy plum/redcurrant fruit, tobacco, oak and applepip flavours; lively acidity and firm tannins. Dries out a bit on a long, evolving, charcoal and cigar finish. Warming with plenty of alcohol, this is serious stuff and great value but needs two to three years or a steak

Burgundy
Undurraga (Chilean wine maker)
Ugni Blanc. It's Bulgarian and you can buy it at Sainsburys. It's my favourite, in fact I might have to have a glass or two now.
