How can fermented fruit smells can harm you but the beverage doesn't?!

Question:

How can fermented fruit smells can harm you but the beverage doesn't?

Answers:
Fermentation creates CO2, but not enough to hurt you, unless you're in an airtight room with a lot of fermentation going on.

The beverage is distilled. Fermented fruits are in the process of rotting.

It's the yeast that can harm you. Yeast is needed for the fermentation process but should not be consumed.

I've never heard that it WAS possible.
The process does give off CO2 but you would have to use a plastic bag over you head to collect enough.

By the way yeast is good for you!!!
B complex vitamins in profusion

its cuz its rottting!
