Is it genetics that allow some to enjoy hard alcohol while others gag at the smell of it?!

Question: People say it is an acquired taste but hard alcohol is one thing I do not want to learn to enjoy.

i love single malt scotch and have since about 19. it is souly a matter of personal taste.

yeah i get stick cos i dont mind odd cider or southern com an lemonade but i dont need alcohol to ave good time hey my freinds will apriciate it when i pass me drive test
