Lone Star Beer, you have to acquire a taste for it though.
Try New Belgium Beer. They are hands down the best and the most environment friendly and green company out there. They originated in Fort Collins, Colorado. Come take a tour and visit the Rocky Mountains while your at it!
I have tried several types of microbrewery beer and my favorite by far is Red Hook. They make a really good Wheat beer and also a good Rye beer. I have been to visit their brewery and it is the best by far.
Killians Irish Red. Everybody thinks it is a import, it is brewed and bottled in Illinois. People think its imported b/c the name.
Russian River Brewing in Santa Rosa, CA makes a fantastic selection of Belgian styles (such as "Damnation") as well as one of the best IPAs on the market, "Pliny The Elder". Another of my favorites is Bear Republic Brewing in Healdsburg, CA and Boundary Bay Brewing in Bellingham, WA.

I suggest you get a subscription to beeradvocate(www.beeradvocate.com) and you probably won't be able to find the best beer, but you will find alot of great beers. A few breweries I go with are Bells@ Michigan , Victory@ Pennsylvania, Boulder Brewing Company@ Colorado, Lakeside@ Wisconsin,New Glarus @Wisconsin Find your favorite and good luck finding your one beer.
Since it's soon to be x-mas, perhaps you could get into the spirit with seasonal ales. Snow Cap from Pyramid, Celebration Ale from Sierra Nevada, Jubelale from Deschutes and Wassail from Full Sail.
