Sangria Recipe?!

Question:

Sangria Recipe?

Do you have a good one? I tried one for the first time a few weeks ago...can't stop thinking about it! Thanks in advance.

Answers:
I really don't know how they make Sangria when you order it in a restaurant, but I figured one day, I would just make it up, and it came out pretty good. Tried it a couple of ways (it's just wine & juice, so you can pretty much improvise any time).

The first time I added some red wine w/ cranberry juice (I usually don't drink wine after it's been open a day or two cause it gets to oxidized), and a lime.

Second dime, I put white wine in a cranberry vodka coctail. one part of each, and a lime.

One I'd like to try, but haven't yet, is white wine in home made strawberry juice and orange juice. Sounds dilectable.

any midrange medium bitter red wine and lots of fruit.

fruit like pears, apples, oranges, strawberries, and banana.

the key to a good sangria is to let the wine and the sliced fruit sit for a long time in order for their flavors to mix into each other. :-D
