I have done a bottle of rum in an evening with no hang over, but I know people can drink far in excess of that

so much I can't remember

The Guinness Book of World Records ironically stopped keeping track of alcohol related records in 1991 so is technically an unofficial record. But...

An unidentified middle-aged Latvian man was unconscious but stable after a blood test showed 7.22 parts per million (0.7%) of alcohol, police spokeswoman Ieva Zvidre said. “An average person would vomit at around 1.2, lose consciousness at 3.0 and stop breathing at a level of about 4.0 parts per million” Zvidre said (2003).

Well, depending on your tolerance level, I'd say if you're in hospital for alcohol poisoning, then you've had enough.
Never gone this far, but I've experienced hangovers that felt like it...

Oliver Reed would know that... unfortunately, he's no longer with us.

I have done 3 Long Island Ice teas, 10 beers, and 2 Hen cokes one night, but had no problem driving home. I know there are a whole lot worst stories than that.

I average a case of beer a day, But when I'm really off to the races I'm not quite sure what my personal best is. All I know is when I can't get up to go to the frig I crash out for awhile. And then start up when I wake up.

Too much!

Having worked in pubs in my youth, the most I have seen someone drink is 44 pints of Fosters in 12 hrs.

well hard to tell, overall i dont think theres a record for the most but the person who can handle it the best can drink safely 2 - 3 drinks per hour with no poisoning
