i think because they might get addicted to the feeling of being drunk and they will not study anymore and they will use their allowance to buy alcohol and if ever they continue studying, if they are curious they might drink rubbing alcohol. and might do something stupid like drunk driving and they might throw up in the playpen/playground and cost a mess

because they're stupid.

they are still growing
if you mess up the growth process in its early stages, it can be harmful...plus it causes "brain damage" yes its a fact, and not real good for the real young to get in too, that it the main reason :)

YOU CAN ACTULLY DRINK ALCHOHOL AT THE AGE OF 3YRS WITH YOUR PARENT PERMISSIONIN YOUR HOUSEHOLD, YOU HAVE TO BE 18 IN ENGLAND TO BE LEGAL TO BUY IT AND DRINK OUT

Because it can mess up your brain and make you slow if your brain has not fully devloped yet, they think that at 21 your brain has fully developed.

That is the reason why. Immaturity, and the inability to determine what is for the best.

It can hurt your still growing organs, tissues, bones, etc. And you are more likely to become addicted if you start drinking under the age of 16 than if you wait till later.

Because your brain and other organs have not fully developed yet. Once you reach 21 all of your organs have fully developed.

Because they are not responsible enough to handle the sometimes bad consequences. However, adults can be just as irresponsible.

Speaking as an under age person, it's because you're not responsible enough to say when enough is enough even thought some adults aren't either, it's a law.

underaged people can and will drink at every chance!!

im only 16 and i go out to clubs its eay to get in

ya it is tru an it tastes much better when its illegle!! :-P

Society tries to wait for maturation and perspective so people can use good judgment in their drinking beyond a "good taste"..

b'c are brains are not fully processed all the way and if we drank then it would kill a lot of our brain cells and we would be less able to do tasks

Not responsible, Can't handle it, and don't know when to stop and last...Because it's the law....

omg dumb question because their underage

because they're underage--the law doesn't want them to be exposed to alcohol (like that works) and if your young and an alcoholic, it can stunt the growth of your brain

Because your brain needs to be able to learn. Like how to spell and use good english. If you drink you will pickle it before it has the chance to learn these things... Then you grow to be a very stupid adult!

IT'S THE LAW!!!!!!

its only illegal because your bodies cant digest it. your body can't handle the amount of alcohol that a 21-yr old can. and 21 yrs is when your body is pretty much fully mature. so someone that was 15 drank about 3 beers, and someone over 21 drank 3 beers, it would have a totally different effect on each person. because the person over 21 is mature and their body can process the alcohol better and faster. a young kids liver wouldnt handle it as good.

Drinking a little is very very good for health. But,But when one is underaged, even few cups of drink could be highly concentrated to his/her immatured organs and this can cause bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract and also causefatal lever problems.
One should only use alcoholic drink up to the limit one's body can restrain. And you should not be too late to figure out the limit point!

root beer milk punch juices.

Underaged people can drink. They just can't buy. Find a way around it and you're "In Like Flint." Good times!!!
