Check the seals. If it is sealed and has been kept out of heat and light, then it should be safe to drink. If the seal was broken, then pich it.

I would. Something like that lasts a very long time. So even though it's been a few months, it was probably made 1 or 2 years ago anyway. Now if it was something like milk... then a few months would be an eternity. If anything, the flavor might be off a little bit. But I doubt it.
