Do you think the Irish drink alot????????!

Question: Hold on! let me put my beer down.

Answers: Hold on! let me put my beer down.

yes they do

Well my family is irish and we are always toasting for something or another. Alot in quantity it depends on the person, a lot in the respect of celebrations. Heck yeah!

I'm Irish and I hardly ever drink... people live to stereotype.

hell yeh
\most of them are nothing but trouble

My family is Spanish and they drink a lot. It depends on the person. That's a stereotype.

Yes MOST do i have been to Ireland and you can't go a mile without seeing a pub. Infact the british (white brits) from my observation like there alcohol too.

pub crawl *hint* *hint*

Absolutely! God made whisky so the Irish don't take over the earth!

i really dont know

Simple, they enjoy good friends, good times, and good drinks.

i am and i used to but now i don't at all we love to put labels on people all cultures fact is any race of people have people who drink to much

I'm Irish. I drink a lot.

compared to .... ?

There's an Irish pub everywhere so i would say yes

I'm Irish and i don't drink a lot lol. So no i don't think it's true i think it is a stereotypical view.

no

Less per capita than they drink in Uganda, Luxembourg or the Czech republic, still number 4 in the world ain't bad.

Yes probably as half the whiskies and cider/beer come from there, they probably test it out before anyone else - which is sooo neat, thats what i will do for a living- come on!

Jen

Yes, it is well noted.

That's the word on the street.

oh yeah (ever been to an Irish pub?)

This may be hard to believe but there are more t.t. in Ireland than drinkers. I think it has to do with the last generation being drinkers. Since Ireland became one of the richest countries in the world people would rather spend money on things that last, and not on booze.

I married into an Irish Catholic family. I thought the southern branch (those that moved to the south about 40 years ago) were big drinkers...that is until I went up north to Buffalo for a family reunion...oh my. I wouldn't classify them as drunks, but the term social drinkers certainly applies. It's a helluva lot a fun, though, I certainly recommend Irish Catholic boys for dating and marriage!!
