How long does it take to recover from a shot of whiskey or a beer?!

Question: To when you can drink again and you won't get drunk? So you can still drive?

An hour for each oz of alcohol consumed. One shot or one beer shouldn't inhibit you that much but if you drink some water, eat something and have a fairly high metabolism you should be fine.

1 per hr is safe

ABOUT 1 HOUR FOR EVERY 12 OUNCES OF BEER, OR 1 OUNCE OF WHISKEY. IF YOUR IN DOUBT, DESIGNATE A DRIVER!!!!

I think it takes 1 hour to get a shot or beer out of your system

Well roughly bout an hour or more depends on individuals,
well try to drink water with some lemon... or if u prefer u cld op for a hot cup of tea as well...

If your trying to stay sober stick to the beer, I find I always get carried away with shots, since they go so fast, and you can never enjoy them as much as a beer anyways. To stay under the limit, depending on your weight and metabolism, you can probably drink about three beers. then you have to wait an hour each time before having another one.

1 once per hour, or one beer per hour,.....to be safe,.....

is it the first shot or the last shot?
it takes an estimated 1 hour to "recover" from each drink......

All the above answers are in line with what is taught...BUT...0.06 g/210L for some folks IMPAIRS them more than others. Joe may stumble/slur words/not pass field sobriety tests at 0.06, and Jimmy may seem ok at 0.10. Don't play with driving when drinking. A DUI on your record may look bad, but your name on a tombstone would look worse.

Just tonight, my patrol vehicle (yeah, I'm a cop) was almost struck head-on by an oncoming weaving driver. His blood level was 0.25. Don't risk it...just dont drive and drink...then you won't have to calculate when it "might" be safe to drive.(sorry for the preaching)
