Once opened, how long is real vanilla extract good for? months, years... ?!
Answers: I know for a fact it can last for years......I bought a jumbo bottle from Costco once...had it for 3 years...still tasted great too
It will be good until you use all of it up.years I would say
Four to five years when properly stored (according to manufacturers). However if you have made your own by dissolving vanilla bean innards (straight out of the pod) with alcohol, to a solution of about 35%, I would probably say 6 to 12 months at the most.
