Question:

What is left inside a stainless beer keg when it is empty?

I want to turn a couple into a BBQ but don't know what to expect when I cut into them... I didn't drink all the beer.

Keep in mind that the keg belongs to the brewery. Keeping it is stealing.

The keg is pressurized with CO2. Cutting it may get you hurt.

The only thing left is the urge to buy another one.

If you didn't drink all of the beer then you can expect to find some mold if the kegs were not refrigerated.
