Answers:
The carpet must be wet to do this , but cover the stain in salt. This will soak up th wine stain.Leave the salt on as long as possible then vacuum it up.If their is any stain remaing clean it with soda water.Neither of these will harm the carpet.

personal experience

Club soda should take it out.

drink more then vomit on the stain the acid from your stomach will clean it up

BUY THE CARPET SPOT CLEANER CALLED FOLEX.JUST SPRAY AND WALK OUT.BEST THING IN THE MARKET.CAN GET IT FROM HOME DEPOT.

A little white wine will remove the stain....It works...Not being funny....Try it !!!!

Folex is a great product. I intentionally spilled red wine on our carpet at a party once just to show how good it is. I have also found white wine is great on a fresh stain. Dilutes the red out.

Call around to some local wine shops. There is a product that will remove red wine stains, if all else fails in a small area try white wine on the stain. Some of the enzime is in white wine.

"Wine Away" works great. If you get to it right away white wine is good for removing red wine stains.

Use white wine that will dilute it and make it a little easier to clean the carpet.
