There is a 20/20 on tonight that is showing that people who like vodka honestly can't differentiate between Grey Goose and Smirnoff! I can SMELL the difference (Smirnoff makes me sick!). I think the best bet is Belvedere...

I just watched this same show and found it really interesting...all the people who swore that Grey Goose was the best all picked it in a blind taste test as the worst! Goes to show you what marketing and branding can do!
Then they put a cheap vodka and a really expensive one into mixed drinks and no one could tell the diff!

By the way - I like Belvedere or Ketel One, typically..do you think I need to re-think my choices? lol!
I thought that it was that they couldn't tell the difference when they were in mixed drinks. Because most people drink vodka mixed the point was that buying the cheapest vodka might be a better idea.
All vodka is good. What other beverage inspires you to punch someone in the mouth?
I hate the taste of alcohol, so I like to flavor it up as much as possible. Vodka with fruit punch is good...But as brands go anything that is cheap is fine with me.
When i used to drink vodka i bought the cheap stuff....Aristocrat....it was $7 a fifth.....i got so used to it that the higher priced vodkas tasted terrible to me! so i've never been a fan of the exspensive stuff....i could tell the difference if i was drinking it straight....but not so much if it was mixed...
FINLANDIA ... Consistently super clean taste, marvelous texture on the palate, refreshing aftertaste ....... While it may be only moderately expensive, it is anything but, cheap .......
Great with Cranberry Juice, Great in a Gibson, Great over ice ...
