Pear in a Bottle Wine?!

Question: I'm looking for a brand of wine that makes it with the actual pear inside the bottle... Anyone know of any affordable brands in the 10-40 dollar range and where I can buy it?

I came across this once in a book called "Drinks" which gives the history of each and every type of spirit, and I saw a picture of it in the book and I was absolutely amazed. Anyway, it is really a pear "brandy" called Pear and its Spirit and it is produced by Black Star Farms. The pear is actually grown inside the bottle.
As for the other part of your question, I really don't think you will find a bottle of this in that price range being that this such a unique item unless you try ebay or something like that.

Here is the link for Black Star Farms:

Lots of more established stores have this and frequently it will be private labeled. You might find it right at the 40 dollar range but not much cheaper. Many places have put inventory types online and you might try that way. Or find the name of the actual maker and often they would be willing to give you information about distributors in your area.

If you find it in the 10-40 range please let us know. I have never seen it cheaper than 80 bucks.......

Clear Creek Distillery based out of Oregon sells a pear brandy that has a pear in the bottle. However, it cost more that $40.
