Not everyone that goes to the bar drinks. For example, the Designated Driver may go to just have a good time and drive those who do drink home. Also, some people drive to the bar and take a Taxi home.

They are provided for people who are not drinking. People who are not drinking much. Or for people who have assigned a desginated driver. Or some times people drive there and once they have had too much to drink they find another way home.

They have 'em so u can drive dere den, afta u get drunk and NOT drive home, they can charge u for "lookin" afta ur car.

LOL

So everyone is supposed to walk to the bar? Just because you drive there, does not mean you are going to drive home. Plus like the other person said, not everyone that goes to a bar is drinking. Designated Drivers, Staff, the band playing there.

What a silly question.

So there could be somewhere to sleep it off..

Tell you what, go find Kogi Haggerty in Bloomington Indiana, (someone who brought this very issue up, maybe back in 1999), google his name, and the two of youse go out and try to ban parking lots for taverns.
I'm no fan of asphalt myself an would very much like to see it done.

dont know, our pubs have loads as well!

Isn't it in Japan where they have these rooms with tiny bunks stacked on top of one another where people can go? That's what we need here!

it's a conspiracy
