first of all, everyone telling you not to drink needs to grow up. you're 22 and legal to drink. as long as you're not drinking yourself silly all the time OR driving after you drink, there's nothing wrong with it and if you don't overdo it there's nothing unhealthy about it either. what are they doing in this section of Yahoo!Answers anyway if they're so against it?

obviously like you said take a shower and brush your teeth. then try putting on some lotion that has a really strong smell. if she smells any alcohol at all, it will be a light scent compared to the lotion, so she will probably assume it's just part of the lotion smell. coffee is good too. not only by drinking it, but also just making the coffee and sitting in the same room as it. coffee brewing has such a strong smell she won't smell anything other than that.

drink vodka, it doesn't have as much of a smell. Also, drink coffee which hides the smell, and chew gum..

I agreed with gagan. From where I come from there are tons of road blocks every nights near the town's watering hole. The best choice of drink is vodka. It has no smell.

Your father's problems are not yours if you don't have hepatitis. You don't get hepatitis from drinking, but if you do have it, heavy drinking can put greater strain on your kidneys, which are already damaged by the hepatitis. I would have a talk with your mother and explain that you are not drinking heavily, and are not putting your health at risk.
Of course, if you are drinking heavily, then that's another matter altogether, and your mother would be justified in being worried

It's not healthy to drink alcohol. It's even more unhealthy not to have an open relationship with your mom. Secrets and lies will destroy you quicker than the alcohol. If you feel you must drink, keep it light and don't try to hide it from your mom. That's my two cents.

i like to say to you not to drink to avoid but i guess you alreay made up your mind re this thing so the only i can teach you is to do what i usually do i eat garlic or something that smells stronger than the liqour i drink........ i sometimes eat pizza with a lot of cheese and garlic.
