I pushed the cork inside the wine bottle?!

Question: I pushed the cork inside of the wine bottle when I was trying to pop it out. Is this ok? The cork dosen't contain any known bacteria does it?

Yes It's fine.. I have seen people do that before and it never hurt anything. There is bacteria on anything we touch or drink out of,so don't worry yourself about it.

Enjoy your wine =)

Depends, if the top of the cork was sealed then probably not. Just drink the freakin wine and enjoy

Dont know about bacteria but if you want to get it out, try this:

I would say yes is it a plastic or wooden cork

I am certified through the health department of South Dakota, if the cork was covered it will be alright, but if the cork was not covered and many perple had their nasty hands all over it, you will not get sick or anything but think of all the people that dont wash their hands after going to the bathroom or masterbating or sneezing that could have touched the cork. if this is the case, just look at the bright side you will just get the extra taste for free!!!

Been there
done that

naw Drink up!

Drink up. There will be an annoying amount of floaties in it.

If there were bacteria in the cork, the wine would taste terrible (undrinkable). Corks can become moldy and bacteria infested, but it ruins the wine. This is called "corked wine" if it happens.

If the wine tastes like wine, then there's nothing to be worried about. If the cork broke up too much and there are all kinds of pieces in the bottle, pour it through new/clean coffee filter into another container, and that will take care of the cork bits.

drink it up, not gonna kill ya
PS i can get the cork out of the wine bottle when its empty and without breaking the bottle and without destroying the cork, its a cool little trick that ive won hundreds of dollars doing it :)

Its cool enjoy your wine...
