Restaurants in Northern Virginia?!

Question: We're going out to dinner with our mom, who we are trying to encourage to quit drinking and smoking, but all the places that sound good to us are brewing companies (ex. Hops Restaurant, they brew their own beer there, or Capital City, they also brew their own beer). Do you have any suggestions of a restaurant?

You don't HAVE to order alcohol if you go to a brewery - ask for water or soda instead. If the whole family decides to do that then it makes it easier for the person trying to quit to do that as well. That being said, there's always chain restaurants like Applebees and Outback Steakhouse that you can go to. I'm not too familiar with independent restaurants in Virginia though, sorry.
