Question:

How can i hold down my liquor?

any tips?

Answers:
Drink less. Your body is rejecting it to prevent poisoning.

drink one and stop

Eat greasy foods like fried chicken or pizza before drinking. The grease will coat your stomach and prevent the alcohol from eating away your stomach lining.

with your hand

Sip slowly and be sure to eat something while drinking.

Just don't drink too fast and don't eat so much, that should help. Take Care.

BEFORE you drink -- EAT something greasy (3/4 cooked bacon is my choice) WITH buttered bread. This will put extra fats in your belly and help you absorb more liquor.

Don't drink a lot duh.

Well dude do what I would do...just keep away take all of your alchoholic drinks stuff e'm away or sell them all then just have your wife go to the store and tell her don't buy and liquor or anything hold it in for 21 days it will probably be less addictive

dont drink to the max out everytime work up a tolerance and then youll be able to frink more and hold it down over time

You've gotten a lot of tips that tell you to eat something greasy to coat your stomach beforehand. I've had better luck eating a lot of starches and breads to soak up the alcohol as it enters my stomach.

You could always do the best of both worlds, and have a couple slices of greasy pizza before you start drinking.

Don't drink n an empty stomach and be sure to drink plenty of water in between drinks. Dehydration is what causes the throwing up.

Alcohol is a toxic substance that is making you sick. You do not want to hold it down. you need to stop using it, it is also addictive. Save yourself some depression and grief.

Like some of these guys said its your body trying to prevent alcohol poisoning thats making you sick. Eat a good meal especially something like spaghetti. Starches and breads will hold more alcohol in and slow the rate that it goes into your bloodstream. Also sip your booze don't gulp it. It will make it absorb more slowly giving your body more time to get it into your blood and start breaking it down rather than have a huge amount sitting in your stomach. This will help but if your gonna go out and drink a six pack or more there is very little that will prevent you from getting sick. And dehydration is the cause of a hangover and you are very unlikely to get one while your still drinking.

Just slowly build up your tolerance. Don't try try to out drink people who have been drinking longer than you. Just drink a little more each day and soon you'll be able to run with the big dogs

Drink, then a bottle or glass of water, repeat... This will offset the alcohol plus it will fill you up faster. It will allow you to drink longer, and it will also allow for a faster recover in the morning, keeping you hydrated.
