Answers:
You cannot go wrong with any of the Gewurtztrameiners, Pinot Gris or Reislings, I prefer Huebel. The SAQ has a better selection that what we have here in Ontario.
And they also tend to have more splits (half bottles) also, this way you can do a tasting or try a variety and find your favorite, I am a Gewurtz man.
It all depends what type of wine you prefer, but
for the money, Leon Beyer's Reisling at $18 is a really good.
Same for Hugel's Reisling at the same price.
Both these houses offer good value
If you aren't strapped for cash, then go for Weinbach's Cuvee Laurence ($91) or the Selection de Grains Nobles ($250 !)
