Good Mixers?!

Question: What are some good things to mix with alcohol? I don't really know much about mixing. I just tried cherry Kool Aid and vodka this week...

a good mix is root beer and vanilla vodka, or orange juice and vodka...you can mix cranberry with vodka too. Bacardi Limon
and Sprite is good. Casadores Tequila and squirt over ice with a dash of salt is good. Hennesy and pineapple juice is yummy. Of course you got your rum and Coca Cola...but you can also do whiskey and coke like Jack Daniels or Crown Royal. 7up and Seagram's 7 is good. there's soo many choices out there!

cranberry juice, sprite, lime, and vodka

We were out of mixers one night and tried a Dr Pepper and vodka...it was pretty good
we named it a Dr Vodka

vodka, coke andjaegermeister.
jack daniels and coke.
red bull and jaegermeister (jaeger bomb)
crushed up frozen ice pops with vodka is a great!
or if you're feeling crazy, go for a donkey's b*llocks (a mixture of everything!)

oh!!! eeeeek!!!! that sounds just totally horrid!!

go to bookstore and get a good BarTenders Guide!!!

Yeah, mixing out drinks with whatever cheap stuff you find on the grocery doesn't really cut it, unless you're like 14. Go get yourself some drink recipes, which wouldn't make you feel like a such fool for paying so much for the spirits just to make them taste less (I'm a fan of having them dry or on the rocks myself). I mean, why would you pay, say 50$ for a Jack D, then disgrace it with coke? How about doing something a little more exquisite?
I always found http://absolutdrinks.com to be a good resource, lots of nice inspiration and tips.

ANYTHING THAT MAKES IT SMOOTHER JUST NOTHING ILLEGAL
