How long can cigars last outside of a humidor? If you don't have one how can I keep them fresh? I bought!

they give you a lot of advise, including how to manage without an humidor or restore a dry cigar.
take a mason jar and put a moist piece of cork in the bottom then put in the cigars and screw the lid back on..its not top notch but its better than nothing. real cigar smokers will use a cedar jewelry box and cork..as for time out, they can dry out quickly in an arid environment.
