Cabernet would be a fantastic gift for me. I don't really care for white wines at all. however, if someone gives me white, i am never disappointed because i know so many folks who prefer white, and now i have wine they 'll enjoy when they come to my house. in otherwords, you can't go wrong with a gift of wine.your recipient will make good use of it and will be pleased that you have good taste in gifts.
Cabernet is an excellent wine. If going Californinan look for one from Napa Vallery Alexander valley or Knights Valley instead of Sonoma County to get the finest. Rodney Strong, Sterling, an Stags Leap are three excellent ones that wont totally break your bank.
