In a full size draft keg there would be approximatley 250 12oz beers is my memory serves.

All you can buy in america are half kegs and quarter kegs. And now those new 5 liter kegs of heineken and select beers.

An american half keg has 200 10oz beers in it.

i've always wanted to know. people always ask, "bRaNdEn, how many beers have you drank in thirty seconds?"

i would say, "uhh, one keg!"

then everyone will get all p!ssed off because i didn't know the EXACT amount of beers. =P

The US beer barrel is exactly 31 US gallons, i.e. 117.34777 L, which is half a gallon less than the traditional wine barrel. (26 U.S.C. §5051[3])

There are 128 oz in a gallon, so 3968 oz in a barrel. that gives you 330.66 12 oz glasses

In a 16-gallon keg which is often referred to as a half-barrel there are approximately 9 cases of beer which would equal to 216 12oz beers

In the smaller 8-gallon keg there are approximately 4.5 cases of beer which would equal 108 12oz beers

About 330. Good times!!!
