If you don't want to go to the trouble of mixing all the ingredients, any supermarket has Collins mixer in their soda section. In bars we made the mixer with Daly's sours mix and 7-up. Tom Collins is Gin and the mixer, Vodka Collins is vodka and the mixer. One shot (1.5 ounce) of the alcohol, fill the glass with mixer and ice. Garnish with orange slice and cherry on a pick.
