i would have to go with the argile..."hookah" as you call it. its argile, or nargile to us "arabs". you inhale a much larger quantity of smoke, and for longer periods of time. have you ever seen someone exhale after taking a hit off a hookah? good grief, its usually enough to fill the room. that is why we usually sit outside to smoke. i grew up with hookahs around, and i didnt smoke,tried it of course, and now i have a lung disease, sarcoidosis...go figure! dont take your lungs for granted. stay away from both!

Hookahs have less tar and nicotine. Cigarettes make you and your clothes stink. Hookahs have a nice taste/flavor/scent. So, my answer is hookah!!
I would definately say that cigarettes are worse. Not only do they have more chemicals, but they are also used more frequently than the hookah! I hang around alot of people who use the hookah & smoke cigs, and they smoke the cigs WAY more than they pick up the hookah. So more chemicals+larger quantity=worse!

but this hookah ( we call it Shisha in Dubai) have one big dis advantage, that's that we smoke in cafes & it takes almost 45 minutes to finish it & it's very nice & lots of smoke
so 1 cigarett takes 3 or 4 minuts & 1 hookah takes 45 minuts
it's like you smoked 10 cigarattes.

Cigs are far worse than Hookah tobacco.The tobacco I use has no tar and 0.03% nicotine fruit flavoring and honey and is non addicting I smoke about twice a week with friends,Cigs have all kinds if chemicals in it most that are deadly.
