Real Chardonnay lovers....?!

Question: I love Ferrari, Mer Soleil and Rombauer Chardonnay. But if I'm in a pinch I will buy Edna and be slightly satisfied. Can you please name some other GREAT chards you think I would enjoy from $15 to $50?

I agree with the previous poster- White Burgundy is great- try Seigneurs de Bergerac, it goes for $12 a bottle and it is great!

Also, Lava Cap- Cali Chard- traditional, or Daniel Gehrs, also Cali, but unoaked. Wishing Tree is another great unoaked Chard and it goes for $15 a bottle.

Oh, and I guess you've already had Cakebread? If not, RUN to the store and get some! (runs $30-40 a bottle)

Robert Mardavi ...chaulk hill chardonnay

don't overlook the cheaper wines. Charles Shaw chardonnay has won a bunch of awards and retails for 2-4 dollars and is a great chardonnay. A blind test with my friends ranked that the best among some pretty nice bottles (screw kappa napa, robert mondavi, coppola, etc). Give it a shot!

"Two Buck Chuck" (Charles Shaw) is NASTY!!!

Try some white Burgundy from France. It's all Chardonnay and it's really good.
