What is the best tasting drink with the least amount of calories?!

Question: That's all really. I'm usually a Jack and Coke girl, but I'm pretty sure it's the reason why I'm not losing any weight. Are there any low cal alcoholic beverages out there? (minus Lite beer.)

I have tested these theories, actually! Many people will say a rum and diet, but the high sugar content in rum made me put on weight! What you need is one of the following based on preference, and all coming in at around 70 calories!

A Vodka martini slightly dirty straight up
Vodka and club soda with a little lime and lemon
A glass of champagne, clear or rose
A gin with diet tonic
A gin martini, dry, straight up

All delicious and a wide variety of flavors, pick your preference!

I like wine spritzers or plain water with lemon or lime.

screwdrivers aren't too high in calories if you use all natural OJ
but beer and wine have as much sugar as cola
a martini would be very low as well

vodka and diet coke

Barcardi has a flavored rum line called Island Breeze that is talked about in this article. http://www.iht.com/articles/2005/01/26/b... I've tried it, and liked it (I'm a rum girl), but while halving the calories, the alcohol content also was halved. So if you intend on feeling extra good that night, you'll actually have to drink twice as many drinks. But if you want to save calories to drink, but not get drunk, then it'd be a great option.

Also, to stay low cal on the mixer - Crystal Light is great, if you feel like getting away from carbonation. It has like 5 calories a serving, and comes in tons of flavors. You can actually search for drink recipes on http://www.kraftfoods.com (search for Crystal Light as the ingredient). A lot of them sound delicious, and quite a few will tell you how to make the 'adults-only version' of the drink.

Happy drinking (and dieting)!

Water, coffee and tea have zero calories. Anything mixed with them should be lo cal.

Bacardi and diet coke is supposed to be low calorie and with a lime wedge tastes pretty good

Substitute the coke for a diet one

Anything with Diet Soda.

Try Jack with Diet Coke

Otherwise, I like Captain with Diet Coke - it kind of tastes like vanilla - I think Captain is better with Diet Coke than reg rum like Bacardi

Stay away from drinks with juice - juice has a lot of calories and definately do not switch to something like Margaritas - those are calorie nightmares.

Hope this helps!
