I didn't really start drinking until I turned 21 (half a year ago). I did have wine after I turned 18, but that was in Taiwan where legal age is 18 and with family.

Anyway, I only drink in private or with family during special ocassions. I drink in private because I like the sensation of being tipsy/drunk (only lightly so) but don't want to do anything stupid. Note: I've only done this once or twice. Other times, it 's just because it's with family and it's a special occassion.

I can moderate my drinking easily because I am very sensitive to the taste of alcohol. I am also a lightweight so I can't drink much to start with.

peer preassure..... it sucks once you get addicted....

I dont drink and i think that they r not active.

i personally think the topic of your report ******* sucks.
but college kids drink as a source of pleasure and amusement not only to get away from the stress of grades but to be social and to have a good time. unfortunately it can completely make you useless for classes the next day

It has no effects on my academics whatsoever because I only drink socially. I'm not an alcoholic and I do not let drinking interfere with my studying.

I'm in college, I drink occasionally, I didn't in high school.. To be really honest, drinking (with people) has helped me meet people on my dorm floor and bond with my suitemates and roommate, lol. It hasn't affected my grades, but it has made me happier as it's a lot more fun to go out and drink on weekends than to stay in my dorm and answer yahoo questions. lol
