Summer party drinks?
i'm doin a tropical theme for my graduation party, and I want to know which would be the better choice. 1) have a bar with 4 or five drink options(including 1 nonalc drink) or 2) a frozen drink machine with pina coloda and mai tai drinks (i alcohol one non). We will also have beer and soda. But which would be the better option as far as cost-efficient and crowd pleasing?

Choice 1 would be better because you'll be giving more than four choices. It would be cheaper to do a drink machine but then you could only make it one degree of strong. The bar would give people a choice of how strong or weak they would like it. Although to save on cost pick out two drinks (long island ice tea and mai tai would be good) or three but no more. That way you won't need a lot of liquor but just enough to do more than the two drinks if they want.

you cant have a tropical theme without a yukafuk.thats a watermelon with a pint of rum and a pint of vodka poured into it.
You could try sangria they have non alcoholic versions as well
SANGRIA PUNCH
1 bottle dry Spanish rose or red wine
1 oz. Triple Sec or Cointreau Liqueur
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar, more or less to taste
1 1/2 c. chilled carbonated soda water
Sliced of 1 lemon, 1 orange, and 1 lime
Fresh strawberries, as many as you like
Combine all ingredients in large pitcher or punch bowl with plenty of ice. Makes 2 quarts.
