May I know what is the shelf life of champagne?!
Vintage and Prestige Cuvees can, if stored well, last many years with the particularly good ones lasting 15 or 20 years... and more for the truly outstanding ones. Prestige Cuvees are things like Dom P from Moet or Belle Epoque/Fleur from PeJ etc.
However, even these are released when the house feels they are ready but they will continue to develop in the bottle. Bottle Aged champagne is a developed taste (yum) and in France isn't that well appreciated on the whole. This isn't right or wrong, just personal taste.
Answers: A non vintage house champagne is really made and released to be drunk pretty much straight away. It will only keep a year or two... perhaps a couple more if stored OK and from a Grande Marque (see link below). No point really buying a NV for keeping as you cannot tell how long the importer/distributer/shop etc have had it for.

Ok....simply....if you paid less than $20 for it......open as soon as you can and drink da whole thing....once its open it will last about 6 hours before it goes flat.
Champagne, Any brand or sparking wine is best to be drank as soon as possible, Champagne has a very short shelf life....
